Gripper

The movement of the gripper can be started three different ways.

1. There is the red finger switch which is triggered as you pull the string through the jaws of the gripper. This is the easiest.
2. The start bumps just above the display is also convenient.
3. Lastly, the pause button (which is an actual pause button) will start the gripper movement as long as you hold your finger down. This allows you to stop if the string gets snagged. Holding the pound/kilo button and then the up or down button will turn on or shut off the beep. However, the beep will always sound when tension is reached.
